This is a beautiful print by Benon Lutaaya, born in Uganda. He is a visual artist and a 2017 recipient of an artist residency award by SAFFCA, based in Knysna. Unable to afford proper art supplies when he started out professionally in 2010, Lutaaya improvised with recycled, found paper material gathered from streets to pursue his purpose as an artist. 

He was named the 2015 Bright Young Thing in South African visual arts by Africa’s leading contemporary arts magazine “Art Africa”. Lutaaya’s works are collected in some of South Africa’s top corporate entities: RMB bank, First Rand, SAFFCA, Ellerman’s Contemporary Art Collection, Absa Museum, WestCliff Hotel and countless other top private collections. 

Print is 43 x 33 cm and framed will be 60 x 50 cm
